The gospel drives me to do all of this. In short, the gospel is:
The bad news that I think/say/do things that go against God's instructions in the Bible.
The bad news that this separates me from God forever. Except…
The good news that God sent his Son, Jesus, to earth about 2000 years ago.
The good news that Jesus lived a perfect life, because he’s God.
The good news that Jesus died on the cross and paid for my sins.
Now he's alive again!
This is all true for you, too! “Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved.” (Acts 16:31a)
